Maria Notarangelo - Yoga Teacher
Maria has been practicing yoga, bhakti yoga and meditation for over 15 years and teaching since 2006. Her life is woven from threads of contemplation spirituality, passionate feminism, meditation and yoga. Maria brings a wealth of advanced yoga training. She completed the Hatha Vinyasa Teacher Training at Singing Lotus Yoga Studio, advanced Teacher Training at Downward Dog Yoga Studio and advanced Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasiter. Maria has been a student of many senior yoga teachers. She studied with Marla Meenakshi, Ron Reid, Rod Stryer, JP Tamblyn, Meshal Hardie and Lorri Medill. Her inspirational teachers are Snatam Kaur, Chameli Ardaugh, Rumi, Osho, Pema Chodron and Thich Nhat Hanh.
Maria began her studies in meditation with Michael Stone in 2008, Vipassana since 2012, Thomas Hubl since 2013, and in 2015 she completed Shambala Level 1 training. To further enhance her meditation practice and teachings, she is currently completing a certificate at the University of Toronto on Applied Mindfulness Meditation.
Maria currently teaches Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Meditation and Goddess Rhythmns. She teaches from the heart with a focus on a holistic approach and follows the path of the divine feminine. Maria’s classes are intuitive, with constant focus on the breath and alignment. As a yogini, dancer and lover of life, Maria is known for her joyful and engaging teaching approach.
Loredana Bruno - Yoga Teacher
Loredana’s journey on the yogic path began in 2013 when the universe handed her the invitation. Since then, her love for the practice led her to Bodhi Tree. She is a certified RYT, with over 200 hours of teacher training for Hatha Yoga, as well as continuing to expand her knowledge in Yin Yoga, she is eagerly looks to create a yogic experience that encourages healthy bodily functioning while awakening emotional calmness. In each class, Loredana makes it her mission to educate, promote, and encourage total health through the discovery of the body, mind and soul. Her gentle heart and dedication to her practice emanates in every class she instructs and her students are left to experience their own self inquiry and yogic light within.
Nuno Lourenco - Yoga Teacher
Nuno began his healing arts journey through yoga 5 years ago. He completed his teacher certification at Yoga Therapy Toronto and shortly after completed his yin yoga certification with Soghrati Yoga. With a desire to help people with his new found passion and a new perspective on life he chose to teach people explore their own body and mind using the breath.
Recently he has added tai-chi to his healing arts movement. During his first tai-chi experience he felt a pull, an attraction to the energies at play during the slow meditative movements.
Another passion of his is digital illustration which he has merged with his love of movement and in the past 3 years he has illustrated poses for a Yoga book(Yoga Therapy Toronto), Yoga Journal and Yoga Manual(Soghrati Yoga). With his gentle open hearted personality he is able to hold a safe space for you to explore movement in a conscious way. His practice is gentle, playful and therapeutic. His approach is simple. Nuno has been engaged in martial arts and sports throughout his life giving him a deeper insight into the relationship between the body, mind and breath. So much so that he feels very at home in his own body.

Jennifer Casola - Yoga Teacher
Jennifer began her yogic journey in 1999. She felt quite enthusiastic about the results of a greater flexibility within weeks of beginning her practice, was puzzled about tingling sensations through the ends of her fingertips in many postures, and grew quite open to learning the philosophies taught thousands of years previously. Her practice became contagious within months of her introduction to this new found love by her mentor and friend, Lorri Medill. It was clear to Jennifer within a year of practice that teaching was in her near future. She trained for one year at Stillpoint Yoga Teachers Training, under Glenn Mifsud. Jennifer’s practice took her through passionate study in many branches such as: Sivananda, Bikram, Moksha, Prenatal, Jivamukti, Anusara, Yin and Kripalu yoga. Instructors and inspirational souls include Ted Grand, Janice Clarfield, Hart Lazar, Jeannine Woodall, Paul Grilley and Michael Siddall. It is important for Jennifer to instruct breath and body awareness before proceeding into the body flow of a practice. Her focus over the years has changed from fast moving, challenging asana to sit still, breathe, feel, experience, and then move slowly. Her general focus is to instruct mind body awareness in attempts to locate the most wonderful truest self.
Jennifer is married to a fantastic man, with whom she has created three beautiful children. She is a Registered Massage Therapist (since 2005) and a Birth Doula. Jane Hodgson - Yoga & Pilates Teacher
Jane has been practising yoga for over 30 years. She is a veteran runner and appreciates the benefits of yoga as a means of maintaining physical and mental strength, maximizing breath and balance, as well as preventing injury and aiding in recovery. She began to deepen her practise in the 90’s which inevitably turned into a Teacher Training Certificate from Singing Lotus Yoga Studio in 2006. Jane continued with her yogic studies and has furthered her training at the Himalayan Yoga Centre in Goa India. She holds training certificates in Pre Natal Yoga with Cynthia Funk, Restorative Yoga with Judith Lassiter, Yoga for Runners with Christine Felstead, and has workshopped with Cora Weng. She also has experience in teaching seniors.
Jane loves every aspect of yoga and wants to share this, and all the positive changes she has experienced, with her students. Beth Robert is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner and is also a member of the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners under which she is designated as a Natural Nutritional Clinical Practitioner. After years of struggling with an irritable bowel, allergies, eczema and hypoglycemia began her healing journey with help from a nutritionist and decided to begin studying Holistic Nutrition at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto for herself.

Diana has completed her teacher training in Hatha Yoga after years of meeting the physical demands of sports, weight lifting and obstacle course training. Victoria Samcoe - Mentorship Program Participant and Yoga Teacher
Victoria Samcoe discovered her true love for yoga when her mom brought her to a therapeutic yoga class in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, one vacation, to help her cope with her anxiety. After the amount of joy the Florida class brought her, Victoria, her mom, and a family friend began to regularly attend their own therapeutic practice in Mississauga. Through this journey into her yoga practice, Victoria then decided that yoga needed to play a much more significant role in her life.
Coming from a visual arts and dance background, Victoria has been surrounded by lots of peers being negatively affected by things such as anxiety, stress, panic attacks, and depression. Her goal in becoming a yoga teacher, is to share her personal experience with the positive affects that yoga not only has on the body, but the mind as well.
Susana Solari - Osteopath
Susana is a manual therapy practitioner trained in Amatsu and Osteopathy. Both complementary health care approaches have a holistic view of health aiding in the restoration of the body’s own ability to heal itself. Nusa Gasper - Pilates Teacher
Nusa is a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor and has been teaching Pilates classes for over 10 years. Her affection for sport is something she was born with. In early childhood, athletics was the discipline she fell in love with. However, after a few years modern dance and later sport/free climbing became her main fields interest. In her opinion, Pilates covers all the basic elements of movements that are typical of any sport disciplines, e.g. awareness of one’s own body, control and precise execution of movements, etc. Since she also works as a personal trainer, her programs always include basic Pilates elements as well. She joined Bodhi Tree upon arrival from her native country of Slovenia. She likes travelling and exploring new places, as well as getting to know new people. Alessandra Cozzitorto - Yoga Teacher
Alessandra’s yoga practice started in the fall of 2012 and since then her interest in learning more only continues to grow. Tammy McIntosh - Pilates Teacher
Tammy’s love for Pilates runs deep, with over 9 years of personal practice. She decided to make what brought her the most self awareness, with body and mind, a larger part of her life by becoming a movement educator.
She also has a long time friendship with weight conditioning and is in the process of becoming a personal trainer. She intends to intermingle both disciplines - strength and core connection - to bring her personal practice, as well as those of her clients in her community, to new levels.
Tammy has a Body Harmonics certification, and having had many influences from many different teaching styles, she brings a enthusiastic energy to her classes. She is most fulfilled by seeing the changes that can happen in a client’s body as she works with them week after week to help them further connect with their bodies and mind, after all… pilates is the thinkers exercise!
